Davante Smith is an educator, business leader, speaker, and community advocate who is passionate about creating opportunities for children and families to learn, grow, and thrive.

As Executive Director of Seasons of Learning, Davante provides strategic and operational leadership for the organization’s expanding portfolio of early childhood, before- and after-school, summer camp, enrichment, and family support programs. Under his leadership, Seasons of Learning has expanded its reach across multiple communities and school districts, serving hundreds of scholars and families through programs designed to extend learning beyond the traditional classroom.

Davante’s approach to education is rooted in a simple belief: every child deserves access to meaningful experiences. Whether through academic enrichment, recreation, field trips, summer programming, nutritious meals, or simply providing a safe place for children before and after school, he believes programs should develop the whole child while creating memories that last far beyond their time in the program.

His leadership combines extensive hands-on experience in program development, organizational operations, staff leadership, community partnerships, early childhood education, and business administration.

In June 2026, Davante earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Demonstrating his commitment to lifelong learning and continued professional growth, he completed the degree in just 14 months while simultaneously leading Seasons of Learning and managing the responsibilities of a growing organization. He is continuing his educational journey by pursuing his Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Growing Seasons of Learning has also been deeply personal for Davante. Building upon the foundation established through Christian Pentecostal Day Care, which has served children and families since 1993, he has worked to expand that legacy into an organization capable of reaching children throughout New Jersey and beyond.

Davante has helped establish and strengthen partnerships with school districts, community organizations, families, and public agencies while remaining committed to maintaining the personal connection that has been at the heart of the organization since its beginning.

For Davante, Seasons of Learning is more than a childcare program. It is an opportunity to invest in the next generation.

His vision is to continue expanding Seasons of Learning into new communities while maintaining the organization’s commitment to excellence, innovation, accessibility, and exceptional experiences for every scholar and family it serves.

Through every program, partnership, and new opportunity, his goal remains the same: to create environments where children are encouraged to discover who they are, develop their potential, and become everything they were created to be.
